If PCAV & Open sections are combined, only one prize & set of sashes will be awarded Count-back as per current PCAV rules; World Cup scoring used for Dressage Jackpot

Conditions of Entry: Entry is conditional upon acceptance of these conditions.

1. Entering this competition constitutes acknowledgement that PCAV rules apply and acceptance of these rules.

2. Before riding, all Open riders must sign & submit a

Liability Declaration form. A $10 Day Attendance Fee must also be paid, however members of PCAV, EA, HRCAV, AHSA, AERA who present a current club member card are exempt from the fee. If you are required to pay the $10 Day Attendance Fee you must also complete & submit the Day Participant Waiver form.

3. The organising committee reserves the right to cancel any class or competition; divide any class; alter times; refuse any entry with or without stating the reason.
4. No refunds after closing date except with vet or medical certificate. An admin fee of $10 will be deducted.

5. More than one horse may be ridden subject to the conditions of PCAV By-laws multiple horse rules. Competitors may only enter one Combined Training class per combination (rider & horse).

6. Current PCAV club member cards must be inspected at the secretary’s office before riding.

7. Medical armbands must be worn by all riders and will be inspected at gear check.

8. Correct ‘standards’ numbered helmets must be worn as specified in PCAV Gear Rules. Spot checks may occur and incorrect helmet will incur elimination. Complying standards are AS/NZS 3838 (AU) PAS 015 (UK)

ASTM F 1163 (USA) VG1 (Europe) EN 1384 (Helmets with EN 1384 made in 2016 onwards will NOT be accepted).

9. All riders to present for gear check at least 20 minutes before competing. Gear check is required before the first ridden phase or test if only doing one discipline. E.g. if only doing DR then check is required only before first ridden test, but if doing CT then check is required before each phase.

Jackets not required by Open riders; collared sleeved top will be acceptable. Beige/white/cream jodhpurs and approved boots must be worn. Jewellery to be removed or taped.

The straight dressage test will be gear checked under Pure Dressage gear check rules, regardless of whether you are competing in the Combined Training portion.

10. Horses must be at least age four; no stallions, colts or rigs.

11. Competitor numbers – the organising committee will pre-allocate and supply body numbers. Riders may use their own bridle numbers so long as they are displayed on both sides of the horse.

13. Dogs are prohibited without exception.
14. Lungeing is permitted in designated area only.

15. Neither the organising committee of this competition nor the PCAV accepts any responsibility whatsoever for any accident, damage, injury or illness to horses, riders, ground spectators or any other person or property.
