Chelsea Pony Club Freshman’s Showjumping Day
All welcome Sunday 20th November 2016
Conditions of Entry: Entry is conditional upon acceptance of these conditions.
1. Entry Fee is $5 per round or 5 tickets for $20.
Entry only on the day, no refund will be
applicable for unused tickets.
2. No horse may jump more than 5 roun ds.
3. Entering this event constitutes
acknowledgement that PCAV rules apply and
acceptance of these rules.
4. The organising committee may advise riders
that they should not jump further heights. The
organising committee reserves the right to
cancel any class or event; divide any class; alter
times; refuse any entry with or without stating
the reason.
5. Participants may ride more than one horse,
subject to the conditions of PCAV handbook of
by-laws multiple horse rules.
6. Helmets need to comply with and are to be
inspected at gear check. (Helmet numbers
AS/NZS 3838 (AU), ASTMF1163 (USA), or
PAS015 (UK), VGI (Europe), EN1384 (EUROPE)
only up to and inc 2015 (if made in 2016 not
acceptable unless also complies with VGI)
Riders who cannot present a current Pony Club
Member card, EA, HRCAV, AHSA, AERA, or do
not have other recognized insurance must pay
an additional $10 fee on the day.
8. All riders MUST sign a Liability Waiver
(attached) as per Insurer’s cover requirements.
9. Medical Armbands must be worn and inspected
at gear check.
10. Gear check is required before first ridden height
or round.
11. Horses must be at least age four, no stallions,
colts or rigs.
12. Dogs are prohibited without exception.
13. Lungeing is not allowed at this event.
14. Neither the organising committee of this
competition nor the PCAV accepts any
responsibility whatsoever for any accident,
damage, injury or illness to horses, riders,
ground spectators or any other person or
property.
