OPEN FRESHMAN’s SHOW JUMPING DAY

Conditions of entry:
1. Entry is open to all riders.
Entry only on the day. $5 per round or $20
for 5 rounds. Max 5 rounds per horse. No refund
for unused tickets.
2. Before riding, ALL riders must sign a Liability Decla-
ration Form. A $10 day participant fee must also be
paid, however PCAV, HRCAV, EA, AHSA, AERA
members who present a current club member card are
exempt from the fee. If you are required to pay the
$10 attendance fee, you must also complete the Day
Participant Waiver.
3. PCAV members may ride at their current grading level
or lower but only at one level higher.
4. Entering this event constitutes acknowledgement that
PCAV rules apply and acceptance of these rules.
5. The organising committee reserves the right to cancel
any class or event; divide any class; alter times; refuse
any entry with or without stating the reason.
6. Participants may ride more than one horse, subject to
the conditions of PCAV Handbook of By-laws multiple
horse rules.
7. Medical armbands must be worn and inspected at gear
check.
8. Correct ‘standards’ numbered helmets must be worn
as specified in PCAV Gear Rules. Spot checks may
occur and riders with incorrect helmets will not be
permitted to ride.
9. Gear check is required prior to first ride of the day.
10. Horses must be at least age four, no stallions, colts or
rigs.
11. Queries, protests, horse abuse rules as per the PCAV
Handbook of By-Laws.
12. Dogs are prohibited without exception.
13. Lungeing is permitted in designated area only.
14. Cross-country jumps are strictly out of bounds.
15. Neither the organising committee of this event nor the
PCAV accepts any responsibility whatsoever for any
accident, damage, injury or illness to horses, riders,
ground spectators or any other person or property.
16. PCAV Alcohol Policy applies.
